Spring
While most of the Japan and the northern hemisphere thaw out in the spring months, Niseko is still home to ample amounts of snow. March sees alot of the crowds in the Niseko area thin out, giving you to opportunity to spend more time on the mountain and less time queing for a lift. Despite there still being snow on the ground, weather warms up quite siginifigantly, and it is not a rare sight to find skiers enjoying the spring weather in nothing more than a hoodie and ski pants. Come April, the bottom of the resort closes down, but the spring park opens up towards the top of the hill, bringing with it more fun opportunities, whether you want to send it off a jump yourself, or be blown away by some of the aerial tricks skiers are able to attempt with the beautiful Mount Yotei backdropping their moves.

Autumn
As we eagerly await the fun that comes with winter, Autumn is a great time to truly soak in the naturally beauty of Hokkaido. As the temperatures cool off, enjoy hiking in the surrounding mountains as the trees change color with the changing seasons.
In autumn, Niseko offers vibrant foliage for scenic drives and hiking trails amidst colorful forests. Golfing enthusiasts can tee off amidst stunning mountains and vivid colors, while culinary delights await with seasonal delicacies highlighting local produce.

Winter
Winters in Niseko are nothing short of mind-blowingly epic. The "Japow" (as we call the powder snow here in Japan) comes from Niseko's proximity to the Sea of Japan, which contributes to the region's abundant snowfall. Moist air masses from the Sea of Japan collide with cold air from Siberia, resulting in heavy snowfall. Skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts flock to its world-class slopes, while options like night skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling cater to all interests. After a day on the mountain, relax in natural hot springs, indulge in delicious cuisine at local restaurants, or enjoy the lively nightlife in the town of Hirafu. Winter festivals and events add to the festive atmosphere, making Niseko a world class skiing destination.
